Bullhead City Community Parks

Parks are an important part of any community and depending upon your needs, it’s good to know what type of parks exist in the city where you wish to reside.  The following is a list of Bullhead City Parks, their location and what each has to offer.

I took the scenic image shown above this past week-end when we visited Bullhead City Community Park (the first listing below).  You can see the Colorado River and Laughlin Nevada in the background. It’s also the location of Poki the two ton desert tortoise sculpture, the Chamber of Commerce and the Little Red School House.

On this day the park was quiet with only a few visitors.  However, a couple of days before when we had planned to visit, it was extremely crowded due to one of many events that take place there.

Our List Of Bullhead City Community Parks

Bullhead City Community Park:  The park is located off Highway 95.  It offers great views of the River with plenty of room for family fun and picnics.  Children can play on the swings and the playground while adults use the horseshoe pits.  There are picnic tables, a large ramada and individual ramadas (some with BBQ pits).

A great feature is that it offers access to the Colorado River with a boat launch ramp. This is the location for Bullhead City Little League and it also has a Bobby Sox Field.
